Dear sir/madam,
the video footage taken in the Istanbul animal shelter which I have
just seen, clearly shows extreme neglect of the animals within.

Everyone working within that facility is guilty of cruelty. The
lack of care and the physical condition of these animals are evidence
of that neglect. These animals should be, and have the right to
be, not only protected under the Turkish Animal Welfare Laws, but
protected just because it is your obligation as an animal shelter
to do so.
I appeal to you who are in charge, to immediately change your care
system and start attending to the needs of these animals in a proper
and responsible way, you will then be worthy of being called a shelter
for animals.
Until the standards are raised, it would be only proper to see this
facility checked regularly ( without notice ) and to have updated
reports and photographs of the conditions there.
We expect to see some positive changes made.
