The Academic College
of Tel Aviv-Yaffo in Israel is planning to build an animal research
laboratory that will house thousands of animals who will be used
for psychological experiments.
While little information is currently available about the planned
experiments, the lead researcher, Hanan Frenk, has in the past focused
on pain and addiction research, including examining rats’
responses to having their tails burned and being restrained on heating
plates as they are given morphine. Planned experiments will apparently
include comparing animals' responses to surgery when they have and
have not been given morphine.
You can help stop it.
