On July 2012 OIPA presented the Gorlovka shelter for stray animals, based in Gorlovka, Donetsk region (Ukraine) a place that give hospitality to saved strays taking care of them.
In the shelter there is the necessity to create a veterinary clinic, which permits immediate medical cures in case of emergency and the daily monitoring of the health of dogs.

Thanks to all the donations received, the works for the construction of the veterinary clinic finally started.
The clinic will be a part of the biggest building of the shelter and it will be composed of three rooms, one will be the surgery.
Another necessary work is to fence all around the territory of the shelter, which is projected for the next spring.

Arnold Gofman, representative of the Gorlovka shelter for stray animals commented “Without the help of OIPA it could have taken us many years to find money for building the clinic and the fence. And now it is quite obvious that we shall have the veterinary clinic in about a month” and concluded “The director of our shelter Anischenko Alevtina, all the volunteers and all the dogs of the shelter want to thank OIPA for their big help”.
