Animals at Gorod Cobak shelter in Mykolaiv, Ukraine, need food. Last week one of its volunteer, Yuliya, asked us for help. Its guests are about 200 dogs and feeding them all every day is a very difficult challenge. Thanks to the last month donations, about 500 euros, we’ve delivered 200 kg of food. Now, we’ve collected other 200 euros. Thanks to the fundraiser “Let’s help animals in Ukraine”, we’ve just bought 7 dogs’ food bags of 14 kilograms each, so 140 kg!
In July 2024, for the same shelter, we supported them by delivering 20 bags of pet food (each weighing 20 kg), and in September 2024 we provided a further 300 kg.
These efforts are part of our “EMERGENCY UKRAINE” project, which aims to offer hands-on support to animals (both inside and outside Ukraine) as well as to local and nearby organizations. These groups continue to work tirelessly, despite the war and increasingly difficult circumstances, to rescue and care for animals in need.
Sadly, food supplies are consumed very quickly, as Gorod Cobak’s dogs go through 5 bags every two days. Please remember to keep supporting us!
