In Kabul, a large number of stray dogs and cats live on the streets, suffering from hunger, diseases, accidents, and mistreatment. The lack of shelters and veterinary services has led to a rise in mortality rates and the spread of infectious diseases.
To manage strays, Afghan government has initiated a project that involves collecting all small and large dogs from across Kabul. A significant number of these animals are being removed through inappropriate and non-transparent methods, while the remainder are relocated to a remote area where city waste is dumped.
This is an extremely unsuitable environment for keeping animals and these actions are illegal according to animal welfare laws.

“I am working hard to achieve this aim because these animals are incredibly loyal. When I lost my dog, I promised myself that I would pursue this goal”
A truly charitable vet, Dr. Mateullah Ebrahime, wrote us to ask for help. He is deeply troubled by this situation, but, unfortunately, he is unable to take care of these animals due to a lack of sufficient funds. He need your humanitarian assistance for those animals.
We trust him. He has worked for 2 years in the Animal Health Clinic of the Faculty of Kabul. He has knowledge in animal surgery, including spaying, skin grafting, and bone grafting. Precisely this we decided to help him in the construction of the largest veterinary clinic in Kabul.
