Sava’s Safe Haven is an OIPA Member League. They have a refuge for Animal Welfare based in Galati, Romania run by Sava’s family. In that moment Sava’s Safe Haven has in care over 250 animals as dogs and cats.
Their mission is to protect and promote Animal Rights and Welfare through rescue-care and rehoming. They treat and care sick and injured animals.
Among other projects in benefit of animals, one of the largest projects is the construction and equipping of a veterinary clinic.
Besides 100% functional clinic, they have room for recovery and room for newcomers dogs. The clinic was authorized by the local authorities.
As a modest clinic, can be performed only simple surgeries as spay/neuter and others, but such of surgeries are paramount in a country where everyday dozens of unwanted animals live in the streets. Also this shelter allows people to bring their sick animals to get medical help for free, knowing that without this help many community animals will die because their owners will never bring their pets to vets due to lack of funds.
Sava’s safe haven can continue his work and offer free medical services to the community animals only with the support of generous people. Donations are always very helpful as well in the form of medical equippment/treatments.
