After a long time, OIPA International was able to support an extraordinary animal activist who lives in Northeast Syria and fights daily for stray and homeless animals abused and cruelly mistreated by locals, children included. Animals here have no rights and protection, no food and not even medical assistance.
OIPA purchased some bags of dog and cat food, puppy and kitten milk, and some products like shampoos, eye drops, and other medications.
Our donation was very little compared to the huge needs of animals in the area, but sadly it is extremely difficult to find someone willing to reach certain locations and often food and medicines are not allowed to cross the border or to pass through checkpoints.
We thank the local “Protect the animals rojava” for their daily work in such a difficult place.
