A DESPERATE REQUEST FROM DUBAI: OVER 400 HOMELESS CATS NEED FOOD

So many times, OIPA has reported the cruelty endured by stray animals in Dubai and the rest of the Emirates, last the mass dumping of cats in Abu Dhabi. Notices that warn residents and tourists not to feed stray animals are often hung in residential areas where pest controls place traps to catch cats (no matter if stray or domestic) that will disappear after being dumped in the desert with no access to food and water. Despite local authorities literally prefer to leave animals starving to death, there are brave volunteers and individuals who keep feeding them risking every day to be fined or persecuted.

They use their own savings and donations received from good-hearted people to buy pet food, but animals are many and often money are not enough to cover entirely cats’ needs.

Our beloved friend Fawaz who takes care of a huge colony of 400+ homeless cats in industrial areas of Dubai is in desperate need of support with cat food.
